Civil Engineering Design Consultancy
Drainage design that gets planning approval
Drainage strategies, SuDS reports, flood risk assessments and highway design — prepared to discharge your planning conditions. Over 600 projects delivered across England.
What we do
Design work that discharges planning conditions
We are a civil engineering design consultancy. We prepare the drainage and flood risk documents your planning authority asks for, and we see them through to approval.

Drainage Design
Foul and surface water drainage strategies, SuDS reports, soakaway and attenuation design, and hydraulic modelling — sized against your site’s infiltration rate and agreed discharge rate.

Flood Risk Assessments
Site-specific flood risk assessments for planning, covering all sources of flooding, with mitigation and safe access and egress where the site needs it.

Highway Design
Road, junction and car park design, swept path analysis, and Section 38, 278 and 184 submissions taken through the highway authority’s approval process.
405 of our 606 projects, mapped. One dot per project, placed within its postcode area rather than at the exact site — the rest are older jobs recorded by job number alone. Zoom in to separate the dots; drag to pan.
Coverage
600+ projects across England
Based in Wolverhampton, working across England. What matters is not how far away we are — it is which lead local flood authority covers your site, because that sets the standards your scheme is judged against.

Testing and surveys, arranged alongside
Two things are often needed before a design can start, and both are handled by specialists we work with every week — so you deal with one team rather than three.
- Percolation testing to BRE 365, carried out by our sister company PT (West Midlands) Ltd. You need an infiltration rate before a soakaway can be sized. How testing works
- CCTV drainage surveys by Clear Drain, for sites where the existing drainage has to be found, assessed or proved before connection. When a survey is needed

Where our projects have been
Our work sits in 57 postcode areas across England, centred on the towns and cities below — and in the villages and parishes around each of them. Drainage design is desk work, so being local is not the point: what matters is the lead local flood authority covering your site, and we check that first on every job.

Not on the list? That is not a problem — send us the postcode and we will tell you which authority covers it and what they will want. The full breakdown by area and authority shows how many projects we have delivered in each.

Have a drainage condition to discharge?
Send us the site address and the condition wording. We will tell you what is needed, what it costs and how long it takes.
